EDUCATOR PLACEMENT PROGRAM - TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP COHORT

We help qualified educators of color join private school faculties across Los Angeles and provide ongoing support and professional development.

Enriching Diversity and Representation in Private School Faculties

At Axis, it is our mission to achieve increased diversity in our Partner School populations. Beyond ensuring that student populations are representative through our Student Placement program, we also actively support the diversification of independent school faculties. We assist educators of color on their journey while exploring, applying to, and transitioning into a school that aligns with their educational philosophy and professional goals.

  • Send Candidate Materials: We’ll help you to connect with various Partner Schools and identify job openings.

  • Advocate: Our team advocates for you directly with our Partner Schools to maximize
    your opportunities.

  • Contract Negotiation Support: We’ll support you through the negotiation process and
act as your advocate and guide.

AXIS is Your Advocate, Guide, and Supporter

Each year, we form a cohort of educators of color placed in our Partner Schools. As a member of our annual cohort, you can access professional development opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills. We provide tailored support for our annual cohort as BIPOC employees in independent schools. It is our aim to be your main supporter and advocate along your journey as a private school educator of color.
